Anyone have a handle on this?

Hey there fellow knitters. Does anyone know where you can buy leather handles? Anshan is the cobbler making yours for you ? Let me know

I'll be there on the 3rd but I would like to have it finished for the trip. Thanks though

Yes, the cobbler had several but none in the color I wanted so I have to do my second option. The cobbler usually has a few to choose from. I have been told to buy a couple of belts in the color I want and then she will cut them and attach them. I also know you can order them online, Joann's, Michael's, and specialty yarn shops have them also.

I make purses out of old jeans from time to time. If you go to Thrift Stores and find a good leather purse with the kinds of straps on it you can salvage the handles. Takes lots of visits sometimes to find what you want but since everyone is making bags - it might be a good idea. Leather belts are plentiful and cheap at Thrift Stores too!

Great thank you Anshan. I will check with them tomorrow. I just finished my straps to hold the handles and I just need to sew the bottom together and I'm ready to felt. YAY!
