Current Knitting Project
Hi all! I just wanted to see if this was working for my account. I also have a question about my next project. I have finished my current project, Margaret's long-awaited (and now late Christmas present) tote bag. It is on its way to be finished with leather straps today. She'll have to post pics when she gets it. So Pat is wondering what we are all working on now. I have been silently stewing about a dog sweater I got roped into making for my boyfriend's father. I thought it would be way easier than it is, and it involves making the pattern fit - get this - a 7 year old black lab. So you can see why I have blocked it from my mind and have avoided it at all costs. I am actually down to the split for the legs. It was actually 10 degrees yesterday, and I guess he could actually use it!

So what was your question? Seems like you are almost finished!
Good observation, I totally forgot to post the question! How do I motivate myself to finish knitting something I am not crazy about? I hate knitting things that I am not into, but I have to finish this one.
Well all knitters have bags of unfinished projects - you can let it guilt you and then you just stop knitting or you unravel it - go to Pet Smart and buy the dog a coat and use the recovered yarn for another project! Or...grit your teeth and keep at it if you think you need that sort of life lesson......I'd unravel it and got to Pet Smart - life is too short to do something you don't want to do! Of course it took a long time to learn that one.......
Good idea, Pam! I could easily use the yarn for a felted tote...
There you go - now don't you feel relieved! I'm sorry but that's all the time we have for today. LOL!
